The West Coast Council is currently seeking applicants for our next Manager of Works and Operations. In this role you will be responsible for the management of leading a large part of the organisation and delivering a range of projects. You will report to the General Manager and be part of the Executive Team providing leadership across the organisation. The West Coast Council encompasses a large part of Tasmania’s wild West Coast. Our nine townships are set within lush natural surroundings and on historic sites. We are driven to serve the community and work to do this through the strategic framework of the 2025 West Coast Community Plan. About You:
- Experience in project management with the ability to deliver against multiple objectives.
- Ability to provide effective long-term management of assets.
- Ability to lead and manage multiple diverse teams.
- Ability to deliver operational efficiency
- High level communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to deliver outcomes to meet customer and stakeholder expectations.
- Qualifications or relevant experience in Asset Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
